PHILOSOPHY
Dr. Daniel Tran believes that your face should be a window to your inner beauty. Every aspect of your face should spark self-confidence and allow you to truly connect with the world around you. For Dr. Tran, it is not about how the world sees you. It is about how you feel about yourself. From your eyes to your nose, your smile, your skin, the goal of any procedure with Dr. Tran will be individually bespoke for you. Dr. Tran understands that it is not always easy to discuss those things that bother you about your appearance. (Trust me, Dr. Tran gets nervous when he goes to the doctor as well). It should not be that way. That’s why every consultation with Dr. Tran is over a cup of coffee. It will be like chatting with an old friend. At the same time, Dr. Tran brings in 15 years of experience as a surgeon, operating around the world from Hawaii to Germany and Afghanistan with some of the best surgeons in the world. It will be like chatting with an old friend who knows what he’s talking about!
BACKGROUND AND EDUCATION
Dr. Tran has always been an over-achiever. The son of immigrant parents, Dr. Tran graduated as valedictorian from his high school and went on to receive a Congressional nomination to attend the United States Military Academy at West Point. Dr. Tran is a Distinguished Honor Graduate of West Point and received his specialized surgical training in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Dr. Tran has served his country with over 15 years in the Army. During his military career, Dr. Tran earned several awards to include the Meritorious Service Medal, 3 Army Commendation Medals, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medical, Expert Field Medical Badge, and Parachutist Airborne Badge. He has deployed to Afghanistan as a flight surgeon and served as Chief of Surgery at Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, Texas. He completed his military obligation as a Lieutenant Colonel.
Before opening DC Face, Dr. Tran was hand-selected under the auspices of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery to complete a one-year fellowship program with Dr. Vito Quatela, current president of the International Federation of Facial Plastic Surgery Societies.
Dr. Tran is excited to start DC Face and bring all his experiences and advanced techniques to our nation’s capital.
